The Branch Manager oversees all processes and procedures associated with branch operations. This individual is responsible for the day-to-day execution of branch activities. The Manager must manage all personnel and activities sufficiently to ensure successful execution in delivering our products and services – all in a manner that leaves our customers supremely satisfied – in accordance with our quality expectations, in a profitable manner.
Responsibilities:
- Organize, manage, and direct the assignments, duties, and performance of all assigned personnel
- Optimizes profitable revenue growth
- Manage the Operations, Sales and Marketing, Logistics, Service, and Administration functions of the branch and assures continuous performance to achieve defined Branch goals and objectives
- Continuously review the financial performance of the branch to assure compliance with budgets and assists with collections where needed
- Assure ongoing projects meet or exceed customer expectations
- Implement and enforce all company policies and procedures
- Ensure that safety is a priority in an effort to minimize or eliminate workers' compensation claims, thereby improving our EMR rating
Essential Functions:
- Excellent communication skills
- Budget preparation and execution to continuously meet goals
- Organize, plan and direct execution of multiple complex projects
- Effectively organize the branch and assigned personnel to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating and bidding procedures
- Perform detailed workflow analysis and management
- Read, interpret and analyze contract documents, engineering drawings, schematics, and plans to prepare and administer customer expectations
- Troubleshooting complex projects
- Proficient in PC software applications
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in construction management or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in managing construction projects
- A professional demeanor with excellent leadership skills
- Demonstrated successful project and business management experience
Expectations:
- The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- The ability to work flexible schedule to meet job requirements and travel as needed
- Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward
