Job Summary:
The IT Systems Manager is responsible for supporting a diverse desktop/laptop/mobile/cloud environment, managing both our AWS and VCenter Server Environment. You will build out our growing infrastructure as the company continues to expand its footprint and reach. Environment is a mixed environment of Window and Linux Servers. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving our environment by implementing support Metrics, System Processes, and Enhanced Security Solutions.
Reports to: Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Responsibilities:
- Manage direct report support staff’s daily responsibilities
- Assist with daily support calls and support tickets
- Manage the company’s disperse desktop/laptop systems company-wide
- Establish Application Patching requirements
- Interact with team members to assist in troubleshooting and identify root cause of system problems
- Manage AWS and VCenter environment
- Manage both Windows and Linux Servers
- Develop new user training courses on how to use Mersino Applications
- Provide remote desktop support as needed
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years Managing a Technical Customer Support Team
- High level understanding of mobile device management. (Airwatch / Intune a plus)
- Basic Understanding of MS Intune / AutoPilot management
- Outstanding communication skills
- Troubleshooting skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Initiative to research and resolve problems
- Working with both internal and external developers
- Travel up to 30%
Preferred:
- Certifications not required, but are a plus (A+, N+, MCP, MCSA/E, VCP)
- Basic Linux server management
- High Level Windows Server Management
- MS Entra Experience a plus
- Powershell scripting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with customer support
- Experience with remote management tools
- AWS Cloud experience
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field
