Pump Installer/ CDL-A Driver

Mersino is an established and still growing competitor in the construction dewatering and pumping industry. Founded in 1988, we pursue those projects requiring a high level of expertise and professionalism, throughout the country. Mersino is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated, individual to join our growing team as a Pump Installer – CDL-A Driver for our Putnam, CT location.

The Pump Installer delivers, maintains service and repairs the company’s mechanical equipment in the field including pumps, generators and related equipment. 

Responsibilities:

• Deliver, service, repair, and maintain the company’s diesel pumps, fleet and mechanical equipment
• Load, secure and move company trailers
• Perform quality checks on repaired equipment items
• Maintain service order processes, provide descriptions of repairs and maintenance on mechanical equipment, and ensure the appropriate paperwork is filed
• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment at job sites when needed
• Procure parts and supplies as required

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL-A License
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card required
• Appropriate equipment repair certification desired
• Experience in servicing and repairing diesel engines desired
• Experience with electric motors a plus!
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirements
• Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward
