Our Story
What started as one family’s dream has grown into a global network of water solutions. Today, Mersino is proud to have branches across the United States, distribution across the globe, and plans for continued growth to respond to the world’s water movement challenges.
2024
Mersino’s reach extends across 21 branches, and counting.
2022
Mersino entered a new era of strategic growth when acquired by Kinderhook Industries.
2020
Mersino opened four new branches this year, setting a company record.
2016
Mersino responded to one of its largest emergency response jobs in Fraser, MI, providing bypass and dewatering solutions following a major sewer break and sinkhole formation.
2004
Mersino completed its first international job in India to become a truly global water solutions provider.
2001
Mersino opened its first branch in Florida, marking its inital step toward national expansion and distribution.
1997
Global Pump began making their own diesel pumps, bringing engineers onto the team to create a product line that would be more efficient and robust than the status quo. With Mersino as its biggest customer, Global Pump holds itself to the highest standard in the marketplace.
1995
The eldest Mersino son, Gino, joined the team full-time, helping to grow Mersino as Rod shifted focus to opening their new equipment rental arm, Global Pump.
1994
Mersino expanded into their first shop in Davison, Michigan. The center still operates today as a center for manufacturing and equipment servicing.
1988
Where it all began
Rod and Karen Mersino founded Mersino with their house as an office, the garage as the shop, and their seven children as helping hands. Using a globe as their new company logo, the young couple’s ambitions extended far beyond their backyard in Michigan.
