Project Overview:
Wanzek Energy was in the early stages of building a large wind farm when we were called to handle the dewatering. The site was remote, the terrain was challenging, and the timeline was tight—but Wanzek didn’t hesitate to reach out for our help. Our operations team developed a strategic plan to ensure the project got off to a successful start and remained on track for smooth completion. The team quickly mobilized, installed a wellpoint dewatering system, and operated twenty pumps around the clock to manage groundwater levels. A 24/7 pump watch crew remained on-site to monitor operations and respond in real time, ensuring steady progress and reliable results from start to finish.
Overcoming Challenges:
The site’s swampy terrain and dense tree roots made trenching difficult from the start, especially when we moved equipment between turbine pad locations. The crew adapted daily, reworked routes, and adjusted schedules to keep things moving and prevent any project delays. Our on-site team stayed in constant communication and maintained hands-on oversight to ensure every shift ran efficiently despite the tough conditions.
